Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Operations Management:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement long-term strategies for manufacturing, aligning with the overall business goals.
- Create and oversee the annual operating plan, encompassing production volumes, quality targets, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure efficient operations and adherence to standards.
- Supply Chain & Quality Management:
- Design and execute a robust supply chain strategy, ensuring efficient procurement, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to define and implement stringent quality control processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality through ongoing evaluation, analysis, and preventative action plans.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating optimal pricing and ensuring consistent supply.
- EHS, Continuous Improvement, & Automation:
- Champion a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the plant, implementing and enforcing relevant policies and procedures.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools like Kaizen, 6S, and Six Sigma to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee the adoption and integration of automation and digitalization technologies to improve productivity and quality control.
- Manage plant maintenance and engineering services, ensuring equipment reliability and optimal performance.
- People Development & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and accountability.
- Implement talent development programs, providing opportunities for growth and career advancement within the plant.
- Represent the plant professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, and community representatives.
