We are opening a global hub in Chennai, an independent center to enable our global expansion. You will be the first People Operations employee to build everything from scratch in the Chennai office as a leader of the back office. Role and responsibilities
- Hire Chennai local talents
- Manage and operate On-boarding and Off-boarding for Chennai employees
- Conduct day-to-day operations and the facility management
- Be a first point of contact for Chennai employee inquiries and support needs
- Responsibly manage vendors and execute cost-effective purchases to contribute to overall operational efficiency
- Collaborate with Tokyo, Bangalore, and the US teams and create an effective and efficient workplace culture in the Chennai office
- Plan and execute actions to engage employees in the Chennai office and achieve a low turnover rate
Requirements
- Resident of Chennai and willing to work from the office
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources and experience as mentioned above, someone with experience in hiring BPO/KPO/ITES industry would be a plus
- Proficient in English and Tamil language
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail and strong task management skills
- Willing to travel based on job requirements within Chennai
