Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to patients based on their individual needs and requirements
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as per the prescribed schedule and maintain accurate medication records
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for the patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting techniques
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Report any changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare provider
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain hygiene standards
- Document Patient Care activities and maintain accurate records
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience as a Patient Care Taker or in a similar role
- Ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Strong observational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if required
