What does the role entail?

 

The Lifeguard is a support position to the Recreation Department. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean pool environment. Candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

 

Qualifications

  •  A true desire to satisfy the needs of others.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings.
  • Must have open availability during Spring Break and the Summer Season, including weekends and holidays.
  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
  • Ability to push and pull heavy amounts of weight.
  • Ability to work outdoors in the sun and water.
  • CPR/Lifeguard Certificate required.
