Who You Are:

As a member of the legal team, you will have an important role in implementing risk mitigation strategies and compliance programs. You must be comfortable issue-spotting, collaborating with the business, and thinking strategically. You will leverage your legal expertise to mitigate potential risks and accelerate business results in a fast-paced environment that requires quick and creative counseling.

You will have a proven track record of strong verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail, responsiveness, creativity, and a solutions-based mindset . You are comfortable developing and implementing effective processes in a high-performance, high-accountability environment. Previous in-house experience is a plus, but not required. An interest in intellectual property, consumer protection, marketing law, and privacy law are preferred.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts with vendors, customers, and affiliates
  • Monitoring and enforcing customers' and affiliates' compliance with Highlevel's policies in partnership with account managers and business leads
  • Developing and protecting HighLevel's intellectual property portfolio
  • Collaborating with other departments to implement compliance programs and processes
  • Educating the organization on new laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Providing some administrative support to the Director of Legal Affairs
  • Other legal projects as requested

What You'll Bring:

Experience/Education/Certifications Required:

  • Law graduate with 0-4 years of experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7-8 years experience as a paralegal in a law firm or supporting in-house lawyers, preferably in tech, software, or SaaS industry
