Responsibilities
• Package Engineering: Design and engineering of process packages, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and other equipment.• Ensure that package designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.• Material Handling: Manage the movement and storage of materials within the project.• Coordinate logistics, procurement, and inventory control for efficient material handling.• Oil and Gas Industry Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the specific requirements, standards, and regulations of the oil and gas sector.• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.• Engineering and Design: Contribute to the engineering and design phases of projects.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate package and material handling systems into overall project design.• Collaboration: Work closely with process engineers, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of packages and material handling systems.• Compliance: Ensure all engineering and material handling activities comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.• Participate in safety reviews and inspections.• Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.• Problem-solving: Identify and address engineering and material handling challenges promptly.• Propose and implement effective solutions.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.• 3-6 years of experience in Package Engineering and material handling within the Oil and Gas industry.
