FP&A Senior Manager
1. Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the evolving India (OSBI) based FP&A team as it develops and take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of its output. Currently a team of 5 (2 in-seat) with a view to establishing a strong foundation for future growth.
- Responsible for managing all deliverables of the OSBI FP&A team locally as it evolves including immediate Cost Partnering support and ongoing development of a new planning and reporting system (Anaplan).
- Manage the teams workload, identify opportunities for capacity improvement and ensure the processes run by the team maximise value to the firm. Ensure process documentation and EUDA documentation is in place.
- Manage teams ongoing development, ensuring roles and responsibilities are defined, objectives are set and aligned to the wider FP&A team goals.
- Be a thought leader, ensure integration of the OSBI FP&A team with the existing UK based team and support its ongoing evolution by driving change through continuous challenge and process improvement.
- Work in hand with the OSBI Finance manager to proactively arrange and support local social and citizenship events. Play an active role in championing local value driven initiatives including those related to DE&I.

- Maintain the company's compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations.
2. Experience Requirements:
- 5 years previous experience within Finance in senior roles that involve close partnering with business or functional teams to support in delivery of financial results, cost efficiency or change projects is essential
- 5 years previous experience of dealing with senior stakeholders is essential
- 5 years previous experience of working in Financial Services is essential
- 5 years of experience working closely with a network outside of the immediate function and building trusted partnerships that are collaborative but still enable healthy challenge is essential
3. Knowledge Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of how a Finance function within Financial Services operates front to back is essential
- Specialist knowledge of the structure of a Bank is essential including the roles and responsibilities of business lines, COO, IT and Functions is essential
- Specialist knowledge of Finance processes and controls is essential
- Specialist understanding of the constituents of a strong control environment is essential to ensure that the Finance considerations are built based on a strong foundation
4. Skill and Competency Requirements:
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential
- Specialist analytical skills are essential
- Advanced skills with respect to defining quality management reporting and the ability to mould output to the right level is essential.
- Strong collaboration skills are essential
- Strong ability to be proactive in asking questions and engaging teams as needed as will be reliant on relationship building over time
- Understanding of the constituents of a strong control environment is essential to ensure that the Finance considerations are built based on a strong foundation
- Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn so that the right level of knowledge is used to make sound decisions. Emotional intelligence to undertake this in the right way is essential
- Strong ability to present at management and committee level is essential
- Strong ability to quickly adapt knowledge to new situations is essential
- Specialist skills in respect of MS Office, particularly Excel are essential
