Position Overview: As a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex database solutions using Oracle technologies. You will play a key role in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing efficient database structures. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the stability and scalability of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code in line with business requirements and best practices.
- Design, implement, and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior team members, and provide technical guidance and expertise.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of database processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, features, and performance tuning.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) would be a plus.
