We are looking for a Operations Engineer to work closely with our customers and their digital solutions helping to continue building & bridging the gaps between industries while actively managing our solutions and being a strong reinforcement support to our local team. Our landscape is quite interesting and large scale, punctuated with key technology areas such as IoT, Machine Learning, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence etc., to name a few. We will continue to expand our portfolio of digitalization at scale. This role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of this amazing journey of building and supporting the new digitalized solutions in a traditionally mechanical industry, while working on interesting challenges with opportunities to continuously learn.
Role Description
- Operations Engineer, you'll be the go-to person for technical and process support related to the Digital Solutions used by our customers
- Support creation and integration of KONE Digital Solutions including software and hardware devices
- Provide resolution for range of issues originating from deploying digital solutions globally with analytical knowledge
- Create and improve tools (mainly software tools) that foster the easy of resolution of issues
- Metric and response - Automation tools Implementation and processes to gather customer satisfaction measurement and effectiveness of support
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of processes and issue resolution steps
- Provide training and support to Operations team members/stakeholders
Education & Experience
- University degree in Electronics Engineering or Embedded Software
- Knowledge and experience with embedded systems, System programming, and AWS Cloud
Desired skills
- Mandatory:
- Knowledge and experience with embedded systems
- Working Knowledge on REST and WebSocket APIs, AWS API Gateway Service
- Knowledge and experience with AWS Cloud Services like CloudWatch, Cloud Trail
- Splunk or any other monitoring tool
- Nice to have:
- AWS Services - Lambda, Cognito, ECS, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, CloudFormation
- DevOps and agile ways of working with experience JIRA (preferred)
- knowledge of incident management and tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow etc.
- Knowledge and experience with programming (languages like C#, C++, JS) or Scripting languages (Python/Shell)
