Job Description Summary:


The Senior Manager of Learning and Development is responsible for developing and executing strategic training initiatives aligned with organizational goals, managing a team of L&D professionals, designing comprehensive training programs, evaluating training effectiveness, engaging with stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and tailoring training to meet regional needs in a multinational context.


Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for learning and development initiatives aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify training needs and design programs that support business objectives and enhance employee capabilities.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of learning and development professionals responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to ensure high performance and career growth.

Training Program Development:
- Design and develop and at times deliver comprehensive training programs utilizing a variety of learning modalities, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, workshops, and simulations.
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance to job roles and business needs.
Learning Infrastructure:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of learning management systems (LMS) to facilitate seamless delivery and tracking of training programs.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to enhance the learning experience and improve learning outcomes.
Performance Evaluation:
- Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training programs and assess employee performance and competency levels.
- Analyze training data and feedback to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for program enhancements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, department heads, and HR partners, to understand their learning needs and align training initiatives accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on training initiatives, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure training programs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in the healthcare sector.
- Conduct periodic audits and quality assessments to ensure training content and delivery meet established standards and address identified needs.
Geographical Focus:
- Collaborate with regional teams in India and the Philippines to tailor training programs to meet the specific needs and cultural nuances of each location.
