Form of workPosition : Senior Data EngineerBase Location : Technology Centre, Noida, IndiaReports to : Senior Data ArchitectPosition Overview : We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer with expertise in data visualization, Superset, NiFi, and PostgreSQL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights through efficient data processing, visualization, and reporting techniques.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end BI solutions encompassing data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), data warehousing, data visualization, and reporting. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective data visualization and reporting solutions. - Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Superset to provide actionable insights to different business units. - Utilize Apache NiFi for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration from various sources to the data warehouse. - Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Work closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure seamless data flow and integration between various systems. - Identify and implement best practices for data visualization, reporting, and BI development. - Perform data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy and completeness. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and support for BI related projects. - Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BI, data visualization, and database management.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred). - Proven experience (3+ years) in business intelligence, data visualization, and dashboard development. - Proficiency in using Apache Superset for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations. - Strong experience in working with Apache NiFi for data integration, ETL, and data flow orchestration. - Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and the ability to optimize queries for performance. - Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, query optimization, and database management. - Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies. - Familiarity with data modelling, data transformation, and data integration techniques. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. - Prior experience in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. - Relevant certifications in BI, data visualization, or database management are desirable.Om Logistics has embarked on enterprise wide digital transformation with cutting edge Logistics & Warehousing platform and Data Science driven Logistics Operations.
