General Manager - Non Performance Marketing

NxtWave was founded by Rahul Attuluri (Ex Amazon, IIIT Hyderabad), Sashank Reddy (IIT Bombay), and Anupam Pedarla (IIT Kharagpur).
NxtWave helps Indian undergraduate students to get high-paid tech jobs, NxtWave has grown fast and established a Student Community of more than 2 lakh students from 3000+ colleges across India. In the last 12 months, CCBP 4.0 learners have been hired by 1500+ companies including Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Bank of America, TCS, Deloitte, and more.
Job Overview:
As the General Manager (non performance marketing) at NxtWave, you will play a crucial role in our organization's growth and success. You will be responsible for identifying and setting up new lead generation channels, managing operations, defining playbooks, and leading a team of Program Managers to achieve the desired results. We are looking for a dynamic individual with 7+ years of relevant experience who can contribute to our mission.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive non performance marketing lead generation strategies
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the marketing team, aligning efforts with the unique challenges and opportunities in EdTech.
Team Management:
- Lead a team of Program Managers, each specializing in one or more non performance marketing lead generation channels.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the marketing team. Define and refine KPIs and keep a close check on the targets being achieved.
Channel Oversight:
- Oversee all non performance marketing lead generation channels, including but not limited to events, partnerships etc.
- Identify new lead generation channels for generating leads in a cost effective manner.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to optimize channel performance and ensure alignment with online strategies.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget for non performance marketing channels, emphasizing cost-effective strategies.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources and measurable return on investment for EdTech marketing activities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with other departments, particularly Sales and Product, to align marketing strategies with EdTech business goals.
- Communicate regularly with leadership on marketing performance and key initiatives within the EdTech sector.
Campaign Development:
- Work closely with Program Managers to conceptualize and execute impactful non performance marketing campaigns specific to EdTech.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all non performance marketing channels within the EdTech industry.
Market Research:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform marketing strategies.
- Recommend adjustments to marketing plans based on comprehensive EdTech market analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Over 7+ years of experience in lead generation channel management, with a significant portion in the EdTech industry preferred.
- Proven success in managing and leading high-performing marketing teams, particularly in an EdTech context.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with a deep understanding of the EdTech landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with the latest marketing trends and technologies in the EdTech sector.
