Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Firewall & NIPS Support Resources to join our growing team. You will be responsible for providing technical support for a variety of Network Security devices, including Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint firewalls and network intrusion prevention systems (NIPS).
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to internal and external clients experiencing firewall and NIPS related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firewall and NIPS related problems, including connectivity issues, security incidents, and policy violations.
- Analyze logs and event data to identify and diagnose Network Security threats.
- Implement and configure firewall and NIPS rules and policies based on security best practices and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of Network Security configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security measures.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed.
- Provide written and verbal reports on Network Security incidents and resolutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the overall security of the network.
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in supporting Network Security devices, including firewalls and NIPS.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving Network Security issues.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and industry standards.
- Working knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint security products is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
