Job Description
- Design and implement firewall solutions based on the organization's security requirements.
- Configure and deploy firewall devices to enforce security policies.
- Work with other IT teams to integrate firewall solutions into the overall network architecture.
- Configure and manage firewall rules to control network traffic and prevent unauthorized access.
- Monitor firewall logs and reports to identify and address security issues.
- Update and upgrade firewall firmware and software regularly to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents related to firewall breaches or anomalies.
- Collaborate with the incident response team to contain and mitigate security threats.
- Monitor network traffic and analyze patterns to identify potential security risks.
- Implement monitoring tools to detect and alert on suspicious activities.
- Collaborate with the network operations team to optimize network performance and security.
- Maintain accurate documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Create and update network diagrams, topology maps, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- NSE 4 certification in Fortinet.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing firewall solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Network Security concepts and technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
