Position: Music Teacher ( Piano Proficiency )
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our prestigious CBSE school located in Shillong, Meghalaya. The ideal candidate should be a resident of Shillong and possess proficiency in playing the piano.
Responsibilities:
- 1.Music Instruction: Deliver engaging and comprehensive music lessons to students, fostering their love for music and promoting a deep understanding of musical concepts.
- 2.Piano Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in playing the piano, incorporating it into teaching methodologies to enhance students' practical understanding and appreciation of music.
- 3.Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the school's music curriculum, ensuring alignment with CBSE standards and promoting a well-rounded music education.
- 4.Ensemble Coordination: Facilitate and guide student musical ensembles, fostering teamwork and providing opportunities for students to showcase their talents through performances.
- 5.Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess students' musical abilities, provide constructive feedback, and create a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- 6.Participation in School Events: Actively participate in school events, including musical performances, competitions, and cultural programs, contributing to the vibrant school community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
- Proficiency in playing the piano.
- Experience in teaching music, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
