Job Description & Responsibilities
- At least 8+ years of experience in database development in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience in architecture and design of high-Volume transaction processing database systems.
- Very Strong experience in RDBMS concepts, DB design, modeling of OLTP/DW systems
- Extensive experience in developing complex database code with T-SQL (Viz. Stored Procedures, UDF and Triggers)
- Should be an expert in Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.
- Experience with either SQL Server 2014 or above is a must.
- Extensive experience in one of the reporting tools such as SSRS or Power BI.
- Hands on experience with SSIS is a plus.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Very strong documentation, communication and interpersonal skills is mandatory.
- Client facing presentation skills will be a huge plus.
- Should be able to define best practices, coding guidelines and ensure they are enforced.
- Mentor the team on technical knowledge and help in career growth of peers/subordinates
- Experience in Agile development methodology is a Huge Plus
- Knowledge of .NET application development will be a plus.
- Excellent customer interaction skills, Project monitoring and control.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Graduate – BE / B. Tech / MCA.
- Analyzing Information, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of RDBMS development techniques.
- Excellent Team Management skills with experience in handing a big team (8 12 Sr / Jr. Engineers).
- Should be well versed with all phases of the SDLC.
- Good Communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Software Architecture.
Technical Skills:
SQL Server 2012/SQL Server 2014 (preferred), T-SQL, Visual Studio, Modeling Tools (Erwin, Oracle Data Modeler), version control (SVN, GIT).Job Features
