Mobile & Web Game Tester

Sr QA Tester - Mobile & Web Game Tester Sr QA Tester is responsible for functionality testing and reporting on project under supervision. The Sr QA Tester is tasked along with a group of QA Testers handling key testing activities. Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent work experience) 4+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance or comparable development experience Experience with various bug tracking tools. Good troubleshooting skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical. Agile and Games industry experience is a plus. Flexible to work in Shifts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Executes an assigned portion of the test plan outlined by the test scripts. Consistently enters high-quality bugs based on department standards and performs accurate regressions of existing bugs. Manages bug entry to minimize invalid and duplicate issues. Acquires the necessary experience in game area to become the expert. Shares testing experience and knowledge with team members to improve testing efficiency. Draft reports regarding his activity and present it to team management. Analyzes design issues and gathers applicable information from the development team Identifies problems in immediate game area that affect project goals Assesses and escalates issues and concerns to senior team members. Relies on feedback and guidance from QA Lead Tester and QA Project Lead for correct course of action Identify and analyze defects, identifying root cause. Interfaces occasionally with developers to verify bugs. Effectively applies existing processes. Follows established process and provides feedback. Creates specific tests cases designated to cover entirely his area of influence. Adjust daily assigned tasks based on identified risks and mitigation plans. Should be a product specialist in terms of end-end knowledge of the product and its legacy. Should be able to step up to Lead Tester responsibility in the absence of the LT
