We are looking for a Mixologist for our innovative tapas bar in the Andamans. The venue hosts an open kitchen and bar, so great interpersonal and social skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will be a someone who can bring energy and create the vibe at the bar that is exciting and warm, and who is on the lookout for new beverage trends.
Previous experience of 3-4 years is required, and those with Hotel Management Degree or Bartending Certificate Course holders will be given preference.
Creative flair is of the essence.
Primary responsibilities
· Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
· Innovate own Cocktail menu and drive the research at the bar in collaboration with the kitchen menu.
· Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu.
· Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
· Beverage procurement, beverage costing and complete product requisitions accurately and maintain bar beverage inventory control.
· Ensure the bar is well stocked and maintain a clean working area at all times.
· Process all payment methods and complete cashier reports.
