a.Medical Affairs :
Medico-marketing
- Ensuring product promotional literature / activities are compliant to the internal code of conduct and local laws;
- Provide strategic inputs and support towards creation of marketing or brand plan as well as medical development plans;
- Ensure medical inputs towards design and execution of medical-marketing programs and clinical programs including initiatives to enhance access to medicines;
Training
- Ensure to provide medical training to new sales staff on therapy areas and assigned products. Provide refresher training to sales staff through ongoing training initiatives;
- Provide pre-launch and launch training to sales staff for new products.
KOL management
- Ensure identification and mapping of top KOLs in the relevant therapies;
- Create an engagement plan for KOL development;
Doctor meetings
- Creating an interface between company and doctors to facilitate flow of scientific communication on Key brands /new products;
- Medical Advisory boards / International Speaker Programs / Symposia / CMEs / Focus Group Meetings / Conference participation
b.Medical Information :
- Provide useful, timely, accurate, and balanced medical information to internal (sales team) and external (HCPs) customers, in adherence to relevant SOPs/policies.
c.Pharmacovigilance :
- Ensuring local drug safety compliance to local regulations and requirements;
d.Clinical Operations and Publications :
- Ensuring timely implementation of all post marketing clinical studies;
- Ensure publication plan in place for relevant therapies/ products
e.Regulatory Affairs :
- Keeping abreast on regulatory affairs towards registration of new products/indications with Indian regulatory authorities through SEC, provision of medical rationale and published literature;
f.Business Development :
- Identification of New products that could fit portfolio.
