We are hiring for one of our client Location - Bangalore Experience - 10 to 12 Years Mechanical Engineer 3 (Rotating/Static Equipment) JOB PURPOSE: The Mechanical engineer responsibilities comprise preparation of specification, Technical Datasheets, Requisitions for Quotation, Technical queries, Technical Bid Analysis, Purchase Requisitions, and review of Vendor document/drawings for Rotating Equipment as per project requirements. EDUCATIONAL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: M.E /B. E (Mechanical) with minimum 10 - 12 years of experience in relevant discipline. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Prepare / Check / Approve Specifications, Technical Datasheets, Requisitions for Quotation for Pumps, Compressors, Gas/Steam Turbines, Fans and Other Rotating Equipment. 2. Technical queries, Technical Bid Analysis, Purchase Requisitions. 3. Review / Comment / Approve of Vendor Drawings / Documents. 4. Participates in the preparation of equipment lists. 5. Participate in Material Handling Studies and Prepare / Check / Approve Material Handling Study Report. 6. Co-ordination with other disciplines, customer, Vendor, and site for interface engineering 7. Vendor monitoring, expediting and manage. 8. Any other relevant activities as defined by the Manager/Lead. DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE 1. Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in engineering or related technical field. 2. At least 10 - 12 years of experience in Detailed Design in Oil & Gas for rotating Equipment. 3. Should have knowledge of International Codes & standards like API, ASME for pumps, compressors, fan, and steam/Gas turbines. 4. Software knowledge Navisworks, AutoCAD, MS office, PDF, etc. 5. Experience in packages like Gas Turbine Combine Cycle, Compressor packages, Chemical Injection packages, Electro chlorination, etc. 6. Good communication skills in English (written and oral) 7. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. 8. Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative. 9. Ability to work independently with clarity on scope and responsibility.
