Job Summary:
Requirements
- Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, test strategy and test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and user experience
- Conduct smoke testing to assess the stability of software build quickly
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and specifications.
- Experience in managing the quality of products throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and track bugs based on their severity and impact on product functionality.
- Establish and enforce quality standards across the entire product development lifecycle.
- Develop detailed test plans based on project specifications, requirements, and design documents.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress and product quality metrics.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Provide clear and detailed defect reports with relevant information for efficient debugging
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5 + experience as a Manual QA Test Engineer
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficient in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools
- Solid knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
