Overview:
As a Manual QA Analyst, you will be an integral part of our quality assurance team responsible for ensuring the seamless functionality and reliability of our payment solution across various platforms including Android, iOS, mobile web, and web. Your role will involve pre-live and post-live testing, maintaining documentation, providing feedback to stakeholders, conducting regression testing, and supporting our merchant support team.
Responsibilities:
1. Pre-live and Post-live Testing:
- Perform comprehensive QA testing on all platforms including Android, iOS, mobile web, and web before and after deployment.
- Execute offline or on-call QA testing as required to ensure thorough coverage.
2. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed QA sheets and screen recordings for all test scenarios in the shared folder.
- Provide feedback to Program Managers regarding identified issues and suggested improvements for communication to merchants.
3. Regression Testing:
- Conduct regression testing on new builds provided by merchants post-issue resolution to ensure stability and functionality across platforms.
4. Merchant Engagement:
- Conduct monthly testing for our top 20 merchants to validate performance and reliability.
- Assist the merchant support team as needed to address issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the QA workflow.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manual testing methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with testing across multiple platforms including Android, iOS, mobile web, and web.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation and testing schedules effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and delivering exceptional user experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with payment solutions or financial technologies is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using test management tools and version control systems
