- Reporting to the Company’s Chief People Officer or her designee, the successful candidate shall lead and manage the Shared Service Center in alignment with TRC's goals and objectives, championing the vision of offshoring Shared Services work-share activities and tasks
- Provide strong and effective leadership to the Shared Services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, innovation, and continuous improvement, with both direct and dotted line reports.
- Implement and maintain best practices in Shared Services operations supporting functional process review, operational process improvements, and project management of various initiatives.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of the Shared Service Center and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all Shared Services functions including work quality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, and work towards exceeding service level agreements.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.
- Implement and manage robust systems and technologies to support Shared Services functions.
- Ensure suitable governance practices are in place; further, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure business continuity.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
- Experience in leading / managing an offshore center for a US based company
- Proven experience (7+ years) in a leadership role within a Shared Service Center or similar environment.
- Minimum of 5 years business experience with the United States; familiarity with employment regulations and compliance standards
- Strong understanding of Shared Services principles, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, relationship, collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements from the initial “launch” of the Shared Services organization, through the ongoing need for continual improvement, to the inevitable organizational changes caused by both internal and external factors.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align Shared Services with organizational goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Experience with ERP systems and other Shared Services technologies; implementing improvements in automation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Minimum of 5 years international business experience
