Manager - Public Policy Researcher & Writer

We are looking out for a Person Responsible for conducting in-depth research, analyzing data, and developing policy recommendations on various Public Policy issues.
Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of evidence-based policies, provide insights into policy debates, and communicate their findings through written reports, articles, and presentations.
• Maintain and clarify the policies and procedures of the company, organization or corporation, assigned with the task of writing a policy manual, as well as the procedures to introduce changes to the manual, policy writers act as liaisons between employees and employers vis-à-vis corporate or company guidelines.
• Understand rules and regulations. Records of any policy changes and address in the company manual.
• Collaborate with policymakers, experts, and stakeholders to contribute to the policymakingprocess
• Engage in policy advocacy by promoting evidence-based policy recommendations through op-eds, public speaking engagements, and social media.
• Consulting with government agencies to develop and implement policies that are effective in addressing public concerns.
• Identifying potential solutions to problems through research, analysis, and evaluation of data
• keeping records of any policy changes, including revisions, updates, and deletions.
  

• Proven experience of 3-5 years of relevant experience in policy analysis, and research methodologies
• Bachelor's/master's degree in communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Policy, Economics, or other related disciplines
• Collaborate with management and leadership, public relations teams, Legal and Compliance teams to ensure research activities and policies comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Engage with the media and Public Policy networks to communicate their research findings, contribute to public discourse, and policy making.
