(A) Purpose of the Role:
• Responsible for execution of Process Excellence Strategy and deliverables aligning with the company’s strategic direction, values and goals across all all factory operations of the business .
(B) Dimensions of the Role:
• Support and improve the quality systems and processes function for PCPB & develop the continuous improvement culture
(C) Principal Accountabilities:
(D) Understanding core business processes and identify process optimisation opportunities.
(E) Generating an ongoing process improvement project pipeline with the Champions/ Process Owners.
(F) Prioritising and selecting projects in line with Strategic Business Objectives.
(G) Training and coaching individuals and teams in appropriate use of Process Improvement and Design methodologies and tools (e.g. ‘DMAIC’, DFSS and Lean).
(H) Mentoring Yellow Belt & Green Belt project execution, through regular project review meetings with Champions and Sponsors.
(I) Providing technical support for the cross functional/ location Teams across ITC PCPB (e.g. data analysis using statistical tools).
(J) Automation of manual processes to online workflows, along with continual improvement to existing systems and processes.
(K) Working closely and effectively with Quality Team members at all locations.
(L) Ensuring 100% adherence to Customer Care process, by periodic reviews.
(M) Carrying out the monthly Product Quality Assessment and ensuring closure of the Root Cause Analysis for all observed issues, by implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions by closely working with all stakeholders.
(N) Drive TPM across all factories of business
(O) Lead Lean projects, Kaizens across factories of business
(P) Operating Network:
• Internal: Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, HR, R&D.
• External: Quality Audit Firms(D&V, BBQI), Vendors(PQRS Sample Suppliers), TPM clubs, Kaizen clubs, Process excellence experts
