About the role
Manager - Internal Audit is an Individual Contributor role and will play a critical role in strengthening our control environment, ensuring risks are identified and appropriately addressed.
The role involves providing independent assessment through risk-based audit plans and adding value to the company's key financial processes.
The key responsibility would be to support the Company's risk governance framework effectively and efficiently by determining whether risks related to revenue, P&L, credit, liquidity, taxation & reconciliations are adequately addressed based on regulatory requirements, industry best-practices, and company policies & standards.

The team's primary goals are to identify weaknesses, recommend improvements, and provide assurance to management and stakeholders that the organization is operating effectively and ethically.
The team plays a critical role in the overall integrity and reliability of an organization's financial reporting and operations, making the team a valuable asset in ensuring the organization's long-term success.

Job Description
As the Manager- Internal Audit, you will actively be involved in financial audits and will
● Closely working with the finance, operations, business, and compliance teams for the respective audit areas
● Execute internal audit engagements in accordance with the risk based audit plans.
● Manage end to end audit engagements with respect to revenue, accounting, income booking, treasury & lending.
● Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and remediation plans for management and relevant stakeholders, highlighting financial risks & potential impacts
● Collaborate with finance & operations teams to address audit findings, and track remediation efforts.
● Compliance evaluation: Ensure that all requirements by RBI wrt regulatory filings specific to finance function are complied with
● Policies & Procedures - Review of all policies and procedures created by the Finance teams to ensure they are comprehensive, in line with the regulations and are effectively implemented.
What you'll need
● Being a statutory recognized person
● Possessing qualities like: Maturity, Unbiased, frank, serious about integrity, having a control mindset and being conscious of their actions useful for the organization
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
● Well-versed in internal control practices and financial audits
● Sound understanding of accounting standards, Finance process (Controllers, Treasury, Capital Management, FP&A, Tax etc.) and in-depth specialty knowledge of risks, control design/implementation and IA validation methodology
● Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations and RBI directions
Qualifications
● 3-5 yrs. of relevant experience post qualification in internal audit, consulting, risk advisory, risk assessment.
● Prior experience in performing statutory audits shall be preferred.
● Qualified Chartered Accountant
● Preferred NBFC / Fintech / Banking backgrounds.
● Other certifications in Audit will be an added advantage
