POSITION DETAILS
JOB PURPOSE
As an FSD/Tech Management Trainee, you will be responsible for learning about our company’s processes and operations in the sub-departments of FSD department and technology department. The person in this role is expected to help us develop and implement our growth/improvement strategies in FSD, working closely with multiple departments to ensure a unified approach to high-quality customer service.
This role eventually graduates to the role of Area Service In-charge wherein the person is expected to perform planning and execution of the processes/activities learnt during the traineeship.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation & Fault Repair:
1. Understanding and analyzing the processes & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of installation and fault repair sub-function.
2. Grasp the end-to-end planning, designing, and creation quality Home Pass (HP) for Tata Play Fiber within defined Turn Around Time (TAT) and Service Level Agreement (SLA).
3. Responsible for First Time Right (FTR) deployment, acceptance test either directly or through third party agency.
4. Attend and clear fault repair or service request arising out of Tata Play Fiber network through partner teams within defined SLA and KPI.
5. Analyzing the daily dashboard/reporting, and Management Information System (MIS) for activations done, and fault attended.
Operation & Maintenance:
1. Understanding and analyzing the processes of operations and maintenance (O&M)
2. O&M of Point of Presence (POP), infra, and Outside Plant (OSP) network through partner teams.
3. Understanding the onboarding process of partner teams for OSP/IBD/INFR and O&M
4. Strict adherence to safety measures.
5. Assisting in upkeep and maintenance of In-Building (IBD) network through partner teams.
Technology:
1. Understanding the KPIs for technology and Network Operations Centre (NOC) for organization and their analytics.
2. Overall understanding of architecture of the TPF network.
3. Understanding IP Addressing and Routing Basics (IPV4/IPV6, Routing Protocols OSPF/BGP/ISIS) for project management & cross functional coordination for deployment of transport network with implementation for field services operations.
Project:
1. Deep diving into data to understand the need of project and its impact, conduct competitor benchmarking.
2. Prepare the project plan based on your understanding of the project under the guidance of coach and/or mentor.
3. Recommend the changes/improvements as per project objective and implement the recommended inputs.
4. Interacting with cross-functional colleagues/customers/vendors/partners/call center agents, as applicable per the project.
