A. The Primary Responsibilities and Duties of a Corporate Lawyer include the following:
1. Providing regular Legal advice: Lawyers to help the clients understand their rights and obligation under various prevailing local law and provide guidance on the best course of action to take in a given situation.
2. Representing Clients in legal proceedings: Lawyer to represent the client in court and other legal forums and work to protect their rights and interests.
3. Negotiating Settlements: Lawyer often helps the clients resolve disputes through negotiation and settlement, rather than going to court.
4. Drafting Legal documents: Lawyer to prepare and review various legal documents, such as sale agreements/deeds, Contracts, JDAs, POAs, declarations, affidavits, and other relevant agreements, to ensure they are legally binding and in the best interest of the client.
5. Conducting legal research: Lawyer research and analyze laws, regulations, and case law to support their client’s cases and ensure they are up-to-date with changes in the law.
6. Protecting client confidentiality: Lawyers are bound by strict ethical rules that require them to maintain the confidentiality of their client’s information and protect their privacy.
7. Communication with clients: Once the legal process is underway, lawyers communicate with their clients to keep them up-to-date on the status of their cases and possible outcomes.
8. Property files and other relevant Documents: to keep all the records UpToDate and ensure their safety and security.
9. In the context of the Bangalore (Karnataka): Lawyer should be well conversant with following laws relating to Land & Property:
9.1. Karnataka Land Revenue Act 1964,
9.2. Karnataka Land Revenue Rules 1966,
9.3. Karnataka Land Records of Rights Rules 1961,
9.4. Karnataka Revenue Survey Manual & Land Tax
9.5. Karnataka Land Grant Rules 1969,

9.8. BBMP – reasonable knowledge of various laws/provisions affecting the property …
9.9. State Stamp Duty Act and Rules including registration of documents before the Sub- registrar
9.10. Rera – Application and Compliances
9.11. NHAI – Procedure for compulsory acquisition by the Government

6. Minimum 5 Years knowledge in relevant filed
7. Age – preferable below 40
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
