Lead Proposal Piping

Position:- Lead - Proposal Piping - (Irrigation/WTP/STP)

Location:-Nagpur

Education:- BE/B Tech/ M Tech/ ME - Mechanical

Experience:- 10+ years of experience in Water Infrastructure projects Like Irrigation/STP/WTP/JJM

Key Responsibilities:-

• Lead Engineer: To work as a Lead Engineer for Irrigation, Water supply & Wastewater projects with a team. Review of all design & drawings prepared in group before final Approval from Departmental Head.
• Engineering Design including pumped and gravity hydraulic design, P&ID, plant layout and General Arrangement drawings.
• Economic Pipe Sizing and Surge Analysis for transmission main.
• Complex hydraulic network design for irrigation, water and waste water with the help of Water Gems & Sewer Gems software.
• Preparation of pipe BOQ and its costing for complete project.
• Design and costing of all electro-mechanical equipment like pumps, blowers, valves, screens, gates etc. which is used in irrigation/WTP/STP projects during bidding stage.
• Continuous in contact with vendors to get optimize commercial offer from them.
• Detailed study of NIT document, preparation of Pre-bid queries, preparation of BOQ, preparation of Risk analysis, Rate analysis, Detail Costing of individual units, Cost comparison with similar projects, RMC rate analysis, Overhead tanks Rate analysis, Comparison of Basic material rates from various suppliers.
• Site visit before bidding to check the Site feasibility, Topography, Execution challenges, Soil conditions, Basic material local rates, nearby RMC availability.
• Communication with Clients and Technology providers.
• Regular Interactions with Project Site-counterpart to expedite smooth and effortless executions, and Site visits to provide plausible solutions in case of any difficulties as a responsible EPC Contractor counterpart.

Key Skills Required:

• Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, API, MSS SP and IS standards and statutory codes like IBR, OISD etc.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Water Gems, Swear Gems and proficiency in MS Office
• Interdisciplinary knowledge
• Understanding /Development of Plot Plan
• Proficient in Piping material specifications
• Proficient in Valve and specialty data sheets.
• Awareness of 3D modelling
• Proficiency in 3D review (Navisworks software)
• Review, Verification of Piping layouts and Isometrics
• Familiarity with stress analysis concepts.
• Construction sequence and erection methodology concepts
