The Role
Responsibilities:
SharePoint Development:
- Design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions, including custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, and other SharePoint components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SharePoint solutions.
Customization and Configuration:
- Customize SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features and SharePoint Designer.
- Configure and maintain SharePoint site collections, templates, and content types.
Integration:
- Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Implement and maintain SharePoint integrations with third-party tools and platforms.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver SharePoint solutions that meet business requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Identify and resolve issues related to SharePoint applications and infrastructure.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, and system optimizations.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for SharePoint solutions, including design documents, deployment guides, and user manuals.
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and other team members on SharePoint best practices and usage.
- Share knowledge and expertise with the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Who You Are
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development.
- Proficient in SharePoint 2013, 2016, and SharePoint Online.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, configuration, and customization.
- Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and other related tools.
- Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Microsoft certifications in SharePoint development (e.g., MCSD: SharePoint Applications) is a plus.
