Lead Engineer - Cfd

(1) Should collaborate with different stake holders like Energy management, Thermal CoE and Vehicle development team for passenger car projects.
2) Should collaborate with Engine Integration CoE and Vehicle development team for Tractor projects.
(3) Should report to the management the updates on the project and follow the Aero thermal design process
(3) Should develop the new capabilities for BEV & new trends in CFD
(4) Should prepare the analysis reports and ensure the timely discussion with necessary stake holders.
(5) Should be able to mentor new joinee's and Interns as per the Opportunity given
(6) Should meet the project time lines
(7) Should ensure the quality of analysis and results delivered on time.
(8) Should support preparation of KM documents an updating the process documents, design guide lines and modeling guide lines

(1) Should have good knowledge on working principle of Automobiles & Tractors
(2) Should have good fundamentals - Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics
(3) Should be able to do finite volume modelling of Full vehicle system
(4) Should be able to assign boundary conditions & material properties to components.
(5) Should be able to differentiate between steady & transient simulations. Should be able to choose the appropriate mode of heat transfer for a given problem.
(6) Should be able to apply Boundary conditions required for steady and transient analysis.
(7) Should be able to carry out Aerodynamics, Front End flow and Thermal simualtion of a Full vehicle.
(8)Should be able to conduct simulations of Full Vehicle transient thermal simulations
(9) Ability to postprocess results, make reports and present results to design team.
(10) Should be able to recommend design modifications to meet acceptance criteria based on analysis results, manufacturing and packaging constraints.
(11) Should have knowledge of different tests for Full Vehicle systems and test instrumentations.
(12) Should be able to correlate CFD results with physical test results.
