Roles and Responsibilities
Focus on Engineering Tools:
- Develop technical rules/guide for design/manufacturing of Power Transformer components.
- Perform FEA analysis, DFMEA for new change implementation.
- Design & Develop CAD Automation Tools inline with defined rules.
- Conduct end user technical training and provide technical support.
Focus on Digital Thread Project:
- Co-ordinate with Engineering & its stake holders for generation of Tool development requirement
- Responsible for developing engineering processes and reviewing procedures relevant to functional discipline in order to ensure they are in line with strategic business objectives
- Responsible for customization and implementation of Windchill.
- Co-ordinate with application development team, perform code/algorithm review, validate requirement.
- Be very hands-on and part of engineering team's day-to-day developer activities.
- Architecture, design, proof-of-concepts and implement projects end to end with high quality.
- Ability to handle complex projects, large area of scope and complete ownership.
- Communicating with end users, technical teams and defining technical strategy.
- Maintain current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on a look out for new technologies and work with management and development team in bringing new technologies.
- Lead development phase of Global Engineering applications and support implementation process of PTR Digital Thread Project.
- Take part in training and implementation of PTR tools in Units.
- Provide technical support to local plants
- After completing development of technology specific rules and tools, assist with implementation in the receiving PTR Units.
Common:
- Aware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards. Showing exemplary behaviours on EHS. Performing the preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with EHS team to avoid the accidents, incidents and environmental damages.
NOTE:No Cross border relocations - Applications from India would be considered for India, Applications from UK would be considered for UK (Stafford), Applications from Turkey would be considered for Gebze Turkey
Required Qualifications
- Advanced level of English both oral & written
- Bachelor's degree in Mehanical/Electrical or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Minimum 10 years of professional design experience in Power Transformer Design.
- 2-5 years experience working with PLM (Windchill) and integrated applications (SAP)
- 2-5 years experience in Product/Project Management of Engineering Tools Development
Nice to Have” Qualifications
- Experience in development of web application
- Windchill Autodesk Inventor 3D Integration, E-BOM, M-BOM, MPM Link
- Windchill Implementation
- Experience working with SAP
