AddressJr. BI Specialist
Purpose of the role:
Main purpose is to fulfill support for the numerous BI/Analytics applications (L1/ first level support). L1 support is necessary to ensure seamless provision of the those applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Job holder acts as a first level user support for our BI tools and manage tickets, both solving bugs and managing evolutive maintenance.
- Besides the operational BI work, job holder will also be involved in BI projects and working on the further enhancements of our BI tools.
- Performs daily system interactive monitoring for ETL loads and eventually fixing the errors.
- Is part of cross-functional teams, discuss business requirements for data analysis and reporting projects and help your customers to classify and prioritize their requirements.
- Job holder works in a flexible model (home office and presence model) in shifts for extended CET time zone.
Outputs
- Application maintenance SLA KPIs are kept inside the agreed values.
- Data is available for reporting on the expected timeline.
- Assigned project / changes assigned tasks are completed on time agreeing with the guidelines.
Required education, experience, knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent.
- At least 4 years’ experience in Business Intelligence projects (preferably SAP BW projects)
Required skills & expertise
- Strong analytical skills, a pro-active working style, strong result orientation and a hands-on attitude.
- You enjoy on a hands-on job as well as interacting with business users on a daily basis.
- Professional English skills (verbal & in writing)
- General knowledge in SAP BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, Backend and Fronted
- Understanding of Query Designer (BEx and Eclipse)
- Knowledge of DDBB modeling (ex. HANA)
- Knowledge of at least one programming language
