As a Network Administrator , you will be providing technical expertise needed to support day-to-day network operations. You will lead efforts to maintain and support a complex and growing network topology that must meet the needs of a challenging set of development, operations and business requirements. You will demonstrate innovative approaches to solving the unique challenges encountered and be able to maintain the security and integrity of the networks. Creating and maintaining IT documentation will be very important. You will be monitoring performance of network systems and advise management when additional processing or technology enhancements are required. Finally, you will perform troubleshooting of systems and infrastructure elements to support the diagnosis of problems
What You will do
Provide Level 2 support for BAU, delivery of Corporate and Data Centre technologies and technical resources for projects
Implement network improvement projects as needed to support business initiatives
Troubleshooting issues during system outages to quickly determine root causes of issues
Anticipate and troubleshoot issues with performance, capacity, or error conditions
Maintain up to date knowledge of current networking technologies
What experience you need
BS or Associate's Degree/Technical Certification or equivalent job experience required
3-5 years of IP network support experience, at least 1 year at engineer level- Cloud Experience
Knowledge of networking concepts such as spanning tree, TCP/UDP protocols, ICMP, VLANS, trunking, routing, subnetting, routing protocols (BGP,OSPF), and the ability to decode and review protocol traces
Solid Understanding of Cloud (AWS & GCP) Network Components
Configuration & troubleshooting experience with a Juniper and Palo Alto firewall
Configuration and command set mastery of Cisco , Juniper and Arista switches / routers
Ability to plan work to meet project deadlines, accommodate demands by users, set priorities, organize information and escalate issues appropriately
Ability to participate in multiple projects concurrently. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), customer service-oriented, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to understand new technologies quickly are essential
Ability to work flexible hours as needed including nights and weekends as required to complete projects and configuration changes without impacting business hours
A strong commitment to network availability and performance, and professionalism at all times
A strong experience with Network tools like Tufin, NetBrain, Solarwinds
Participate in 24x7x365 on-call rotation

An interest in working in a DevOps environment along with a desire to develop skills in network automation will be of benefit, as will an understanding of network security.
