Roles and responsibilities:

• To assist the project team in the timely execution of the project.
• To ensure proper accounting of materials procured for the project.
• Scheduling project activities in MS Project.
• Coordination with the consultant for execution drawings.
• Coordination with the project team and understanding the project requirements.
• Identifying the different vendors as per the requirements of materials.
• Floating of technical inquiry and getting offers from vendor.
• Preparing and maintaining the capital budget.
• Preparation of documents as per requirements of the commercial department, like a technical recommendation, a technical comparative statement, a supply scope, a service scope, a checklist, and an LD for performance.
• Codification-Item Code Creation
• Check for alternative code and extend for JSW paints; if not available, create new Item Code
• Editing or unblocking an existing blocked item code
• suggesting templates to users for item code creation.
• Provide technical justification,supporting documents, or vendor confirmation if required by MPPG.
• Follow up with users for item details required for the creation of code.
• Indent/PR Creation
• PR creation in SAP.
• Check for budget availability and the category under which PR is to be raised.
• Approve indents as per hierarchy—mail or follow up with concerned authorities.
• keeping track of PR raised.
• Release of PO/WO
• Follow up with commercial team for negotiation
• Solving or clearing of budget issues, if any, while creating PO
• keeping track of PO's and WO's released.
• Coordination with Vendors for follow-up of material and Travel around to vendor place for material inspection
• Closing of Proforma Payments/Other Payment-Related Issues, Extension of PO validity
• Follow up with vendors for the submission of the pro forma invoice.
• Submission of invoices in GBS for bill booking
• Follow up with accounts for clearing of proforma payments
• Follow up with commercial for validity extension
• Bills Processing
• Check for all supporting documents along with bills (PF,PF Bank Challan, ESI Copy, ESI Bank Challan, Insurance, Attendance, and Service Sheets)
• SRN creation in SAP
• Follow up with commercial for Free issue format updating (Z-table)
• Reconciliation of free-issue materials like steel , pipe, cement, etc.
• Transfer of stock against contractor work orders through the SAP system.
• Submission of invoices in GBS for bill booking
• Follow up with accounts for clearing of payments
• Preparation of stock report and material planning according to project requirements.
• Preparation of a weekly project report by coordinating with the project team.
