General Summary:
Looking for a passionate full-stack Software Engineer having experience in developing and deploying high quality software solutions built around Java 8+, Spring Boot, JPA (Hibernate/Eclipse Link), Angular, HTML5, CSS3 and SQL.
Candidate should have:
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience working on Java 8+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, HTML5, CSS3
- Strong experience on server-side programming including Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong expertise on responsive design and proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge on AWS infrastructure and related programming skills (EC2, IAM, API Gateway, ECS, S3, Lambda, Cloud Formation)
- Familiarity with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Pipelines)
- Working knowledge of the scrum framework and Agile methodology
- Excellent English and strong communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).
OR
Bachelor's degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing) and 1+ year of IT-relevant experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of IT-relevant experience.
- 2+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with programming (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
- 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
'Desirable:
- Hands-on experience on NodeJS, NoSQL.
- Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with one or more application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere).
- Experience with build tools Like Gradle and Maven, development environments and IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ.
- Experience with one or more source code version control software like Subversion or GIT.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), design, documentation, test case preparation and review of tests.
- Experience with unit testing tools and frameworks such as Karma, Jest, Junit
- A quick learner with the ability to handle development tasks with minimum or no supervision.
- Ability to work and contribute beyond defined responsibilities. - Ability to work and contribute beyond defined responsibilities.
- Experience with working on small to medium sized development teams from project definition through implementation.
