Job Description
- Patient Consultation: Meeting with patients to discuss their fertility concerns and medical history, perform diagnostic tests, and recommend fertility treatment options.
- IVF Treatment Planning: Developing individualized treatment plans for patients based on their medical history, diagnostic tests, and fertility goals, and monitoring patients' progress throughout treatment.
- Fertility Procedures: Performing various fertility procedures, such as ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and intrauterine insemination, and providing patients with counseling and support throughout the process.
- Surgery: Performing fertility-related surgeries, such as hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and myomectomy, to treat conditions that may affect fertility.
- Fertility Treatments and IVF:Evaluate and diagnose infertility issues in both men and women, and recommend appropriate fertility treatments, including IVF, intrauterine insemination (IUI), or other assisted reproductive technologies
- Oversee IVF procedures, including egg retrieval, fertilization, embryo transfer, and monitoring patients throughout the fertility treatment process
- Reproductive Health Counseling:Offer counseling and guidance to patients and couples on reproductive health, family planning, contraception, and fertility options
- Educate patients about their treatment options, potential risks, and expected outcomes
- Research and Advancements:Participate in research studies, clinical trials, or advancements in the field of gynecology, obstetrics, and assisted reproductive technologies to improve treatments and outcomes
- Skills and Qualifications:Medical degree (MD or MBBS) with specialized training in obstetrics, gynecology, and fertility treatments
- Board certification or fellowship in Gynecology, Obstetrics, or Reproductive Endocrinology
- Expertise in gynecological examinations, obstetric care, and fertility treatments, including IVF
- Strong communication and counseling skills to interact with patients and provide guidance on sensitive reproductive health issues
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Finish IPD and OT at the start of the day.
- Start OPD.
- Consultation and Counselling to all OPD patients
- To do IUI, Sonography
- To give prescription and requisition
- To take an IPD Round with Assistant Doctor IPD (RMO) & sisters in the morning and evening
- Patient's File should be completed
- Check Daily Orders written by Assistant Doctor, IPD
- Check parameters and investigations done
- Check monitoring charts
- Check IPD and OT Consents (Newly admitted patients)
- Advise necessary investigation, inform to patients
- Ask patients if they have any complaints and take corrective actions
- To take an IPD Round with sisters in the evening
- Operative Procedures (OPU, ET, HLScopy)
- To conduct scheduled Operative Procedures
- To ensure Operative Procedure is started on time
- To ensure Pre-OP preparation is done by OT sister as per Pre-Op Checklist
- Washup, assist or conduct OT
- Ensure Anaesthesia notes are entered
- To write down OT Notes
- To give Post-OP orders to assistant doctors
- To take Post-Op round immediately after shifting the patient and ensure that IPD sisters are
- To ensure that Software entries to record Post OP finding by Sisters and Assistant Doctors
- To decide discharge, ask RMO to prepare discharge paper
- To ensure all IPD Paper's work is done by Assistant Doctor IPD and sister, verify
- To attend all type of emergency situations, in case of complications take help of senior
- To attend Camps and Outreach OPDs
- Monitoring and Control of all Clinical Staff
