Job description
Resource will be on the Wintel/VMware Operations team which supports VMware Operations with a focus on Microsoft Windows, VMWare ESXi and vCenter. A successful candidate will have the ability to deploy and troubleshoot a mixture of physical and virtual infrastructure delivery tasks as assigned. Within the Server Operations Team, you will help design and operationalize services to support the agile growth in our Microsoft Windows and VMWare product offerings. You will partner with the VMWare Stability and Engineering team during all phases of the VMWare ESXi lifecycle to support design and operational methods. You will fulfill a cross-functional role by driving operational stability and performance enhancements to the supported infrastructure. You'll collaborate with other system administrators and engineers to pave the way for the next generation private cloud environment - moving beyond traditional practices and enhancing our customer experience. You have a passion for systems engineering, operational stability, monitoring, automation and defined networks.
