Investments Analyst – Private Equity Fund

Position based with a large Private Equity Fund having offices in India, South East Asia,US

Role

– Financial Modeling for evaluating deals – Assist the senior management team to take an informed view on the business, valuation and likely returns over a 3-5 year period

– Industry and Company research

– Researching companies, in terms of their financial functioning

– Analyzing company accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow information

– Interpreting financial information and models

– Writing financial research summaries

– Making informed recommendations

– Evaluation of business plan with respect to the state of the industry and management capabilities

– Understanding the market positioning of the business

– Understanding industry dynamics and positioning of the investee company within its peer group

– Legal Documentation (Term Sheet, Agreements, etc) – including working on detailed terms of the agreement

– Develop and help implement strategies for specific portfolio companies to increase revenue, improve operations, strengthen financial controls, and increase shareholder value

– MBA from Premier B school with 2 – 4 years of experience working with a PE / IB Firm
