Your Main Tasks
- Conducting independent research on various markets, technologies and investment opportunities.
- Supporting senior team members in preparing reports and presentations
- Providing support to senior team members on transactions, including support on desktop and on-site diligence, financial analysis and transaction closure.
- Review and stress testing of financial models.
- Drafting of screening reports and investment memoranda which serve as the basis for investment decisions.
- Monitoring of portfolio investments as well as of the markets in which they are operating.
- Provide day-to-day operations support to credit risk management and transaction management teams within responsAbility.
- Liaising with teams located at Zurich, Bangkok, Nairobi and Mumbai.
Your Experience and Skills
- Post Graduate degree in economics, business administration, finance, or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Three to four years of experience in consulting or financial/investment experience preferably in the renewable energy / Climate Finance space.
- Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
- Strong financial modelling and accounting skills; proficiency with spreadsheets.
- Excellent oral and written English language skills.
- High degree of initiative, reliability and willingness to learn.
- Transparency and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in and enthusiasm in Climate Finance and impact investments.
