Job Description:
Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Develop financial models for investment opportunities, including projected financial statements, valuation models, sensitivity analysis, unit economics, and benchmarking.
- Coordinate, prepare, and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and performing financial analysis.
- Analyze results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Prepare and coordinate the development of budgets (Annual Operating Plans/ Business Plans) for the Group
Transaction Support and Advisory
- Work closely with stakeholders to execute transactions.
- Ensure tax-efficient and legally sound investment structures aligned with the company's strategy.
- Negotiate terms of investment opportunities with the Executive team
Portfolio Management
- Assist in managing the company's investment portfolio, monitoring performance, and creating management reports.
- Identify and assess potential risks, developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare investment materials, including memos and pitch decks, for presentation to management and investors.
Investor Relations and Reporting
- Prepare reports for investors, including financial statements and performance updates.
- Deliver presentations to senior management and investors, communicating financial analysis and investment recommendations
Investment Strategy Development
- Work with the Executive team to identify investment opportunities and develop strategies.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Identify and research potential investment opportunities, build relationships with stakeholders, and participate in deal sourcing efforts.
- Conduct thorough diligence on potential investments, including financial and legal analysis.
Stakeholder Management, Compliance and Regulations
- Coordinate and collaborate with external organizations for financial data and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor changes in regulations impacting investment strategies
Key Performance Attributes
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce).
- Chartered accountant or equivalent professional qualification with 3 to 5 years post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrated good judgment, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling and presentation tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong delivery focus, excellent team player, and ability to function in multi-cultural environments.
- Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams within a matrix environment.
