We are looking for an Interior designer who enjoys putting their creativity to work for the customers
and who can undertake a variety of space designing projects from concept to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
● The desired candidate should have excellent communication skills. Both verbal and visual. The job role comprises of pitching interior design proposals to clients that involves making furniture layouts, mood-boards, color-schemes and sketches or 3-Dvisuals.
● Should understand furniture making and should be able to make/study technical drawings. Likewise, a basic understanding of materials and finishes, hardware etc. is expected.
● Knowledge of styling and graphics would be an added plus and ability to sell the concept and close project within design scope.
● Front-end designer, consult clients as to what they want, and what we have to offer to match that.
● Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans.
● Help client to plan a better layout and curate a look and feel board complete with color schemes, fabric and finishes etc.
● Interior styling and curation from the website products. Deliverables include mood-boards, layouts, color palettes and illustrations.
● Further, handover the project for execution, for which a detailed BOQ with all particulars, needs to be submitted with further coordination with project manager.
● Review drawings as received from the design team and approve for production.
● Products QC prior to dispatch.
● Role may encompass visiting the site for the purpose of understanding, measurements, understanding client requirements and act as a bridge between the client and the project manager.
● Visualizing and sketching design plans as per client goals, sourcing products and materials and undertake the design project from concept to completion.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
● BS degree in Interior Design or similar relevant field with proven work experience (3-4 years) as an Interior Designer or similar role.
● Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces
● Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
● Hands on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs.
● Excellent portfolio of previous works with artistic ability, vision and creativity.
● Knowledge of design-related software.
● Knowledge of colour and texture, shades and fabric.
● An understanding of trends and materials.
● Understanding market trends and fashion trends.
● Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD).
