Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. A master's degree may be preferred for some positions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tunnel instrumentation, preferably with experience in TBM and NATM tunneling methods.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification may be required.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for design, analysis, and documentation.
- Knowledge of tunneling methods, construction practices, and safety regulations.
Job Description:
- Design, implement, and maintain instrumentation systems for monitoring and controlling tunneling operations using TBMs or NATM.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that instrumentation systems meet project requirements and specifications.
- Perform inspections and tests on instrumentation systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and maintain project schedules.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and drawings related to instrumentation systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in tunneling technology and best practices.
