What you’ll do:

Responsibilities:

•          Having 3-5 years of IT experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support of Data Warehousing and Data Migration using Informatica Power Center.

•          Have extensively worked in developing ETL program for supporting Data Extraction, transformations and loading using Informatica Power Center.

•          Understand the business rules completely based on High Level document specifications and implements the data transformation methodologies.

•          Extensively worked on Informatica Power Center Designer Components Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer, Transformation Developer and Workflow Manager.

•          Responsible for testing, modifying, debugging, documenting and implementation of Informatica jobs.

•          Troubleshoot data issues, validated result sets, recommended and implemented process improvements.

•          Used various transformations like Source qualifier, Aggregators, lookups, Filters, Sequence generators, Routers, Update Strategy, Expression, Sorter etc.

•          Expertise includes requirements gathering for business functions to be mapped in Informatica, creating new Informatica mappings, workflows and preparation of test cases with Business   Requirements in Informatica ETL Projects.

•          Experience in Performance Tuning the mappings and Sessions to improve the performance.

•          Involved in participation of regular weekly project status meetings to discuss the risks involved in ongoing projects with Teammates and Team Lead.

•          Independently perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and solution development.

•          Ability to work in a team as well as individually.

•          Effectively monitored ETL jobs and involved in all the support activities.

Education and Experience Required:

• Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or a Master's degree and up to five years of experience.
