Key Reponsibilities :
1 Strong Knowledge in Webserver and web application technologies IBM WebSphere , IBM HTTPD Server ,IBM WESPHERE PORTAL, APACHE , JBOSS Tomcat 2 Strong Knowledge in WAS migration ,JBOSS Migration tomcat Migration 3 Strong Knowledge of SSL ,security and certificate renewal process 4 Strong Knowledge of profile creation, cluster configuration, virtual configuration, JDBC configuration , plugin configuration propagation 5 Strong Knowledge of JBoss configuration 6 Strong knowledge in Troubleshooting issues with WAS/HTTP/APACHE/JBOSS server and need to handle Incident Changes
Technical Experience :
1 Deployment of EAR WAR files on Web Sphere Application server , JBoss , Tomcat WebSphere portal server 2 Log file maintenance and housekeeping the logs according to the industry standard 3 Identifying and applying fix packs , Refresh packs migrate the version for products and suggesting resolutions/workaround from IBM Raising the PMR with IBM for product related issue Root Cause analysis and reporting Regular performance tuning and analysis need to happen accordingly thread dump and heap dump analysis happen Document the issues and associated resolution to problems and monitor the middleware components to ensure optimal performance , availability, and reliability Proficient
