Job Description:
  • Recruitment and Selection – Assist HR manager in sourcing, and screening, candidates for various required health care staffing positions and care home specific requirements - non health care.
  • On Boarding – Assist HR Manager to arrange to equip candidates with necessary skill sets for efficient discharge of assigned responsibilities like Induction, Training, Certifications, Shadow Shifts, etc in compliance with company policy and UK regulations
  • Employee Relations – providing feedback to HR Manager in addressing employee concerns, issues, grievances, and requirements to foster and promote a positive work environment.
Operation Management:
  • Job Knowledge - Complete familiarity with core business of the Company, the Area/ Zone of operation, Offices, Transportation starting points and general destinations, conventional routes, Distance involved, Time taken, Transportation infrastructure available, Vehicles, Drivers, On day duty assigned, information on Care givers with driving licence and vehicle, with driving licence, catchment areas, care giver requirement on particular day, carers deployed and spare available, time/ shift sought by homes, duration sought, care giver schedule as given by home, arranging pick up and drop, specific requirements of home, specific attributes of care giver vis a vis job knowledge, experience, certifications etc, number of male carers and female carers, operational hours put in by each carer, follow up on service made available, service feedback, receipt of signed time sheet by the home, information on RGN, Housekeeping staff, kitchen Assistants, activity partner, team Leader, and senior Carer.
  • Team Management – Optimising staff levels to client requirements and needs. Ensuring systematic, equitable, and scientific deployment of resources and infrastructure to the entire team with preference to permanent members and spill over to temporary staff within prescribed mandatory monthly levels.
  • Compliance and reporting – Ensuring adherence to UK Health care regulations and prepare regular operational reports to management for trend analysis and strategic decision making
  • Collaboration – to clearly understand nuances of health care system in UK various types of caring, different types of homes, UK regulations in force governing each, Caregiver/ Nurse requirements, in country/ out country carers, Temporary and permanent carers, Permanent staff and permanent agency staff, and collaboration with Marketing and HR to meet needs of home.
  • Coordination – To be a team player effectively coordinating with HR, Finance, Administration, and Marketing to make available resources, to meet home needs and business objective.
Requirement:
  • Role requirements – Basic degree in HR, Business Administration, with prior experience, if any, in a call centre specifically catering to the UK health care sector, desirable though not essential.
  • Professional knowledge – Familiarity with UK Health care staffing regulations, requirements, Student carer regulations, CQC/ NHs Requirements, various types of care giving, different types of homes, identification of service provider agencies,cartographical knowledge of UK, UK demographic bifurcations, Counties, location of universities, homes, typical distances, time taken for travel, catchment area, conventional routes with start and end point, number of permanent care staff, temporary care staff, student carers, RGN,s, in country carers, out country carers, specific attributes of each carer, and their skill sets, experience, and trainings and certifications, info on carers with driving licence and car or only with driving licence.
  • Communication skills – Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Literacy – Basic computer literacy.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Time management – Perfect time management skills – punctual and diligent.
  • Energy levels – willing to work and operate in British Time zones and even for night shifts/ late shifts/ Sundays
  • Result oriented and goal driven.
