Our Client is a leading hospitality company in the Oceania Region with 40+ years of association with global hotel brands including IHG, Accor & Hilton.

Their investment & expertise range from Construction, Ownership & Management of diverse hospitality assets such as Hotels, Event Centres, Serviced & Residential Apartments, and destination management.

About the candidate

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented fresh hospitality graduate to join our back-office team in Mumbai in various operations support roles. We have opportunities available for roles such as Revenue Analyst, Reservation Executive, Sales Support, and Night Auditor. Please note that these are back-office roles and not front-office, kitchen, or catering.

In this dynamic environment, candidate will have the chance to explore different facets of the hospitality industry and develop a diverse skill set. Depending on aptitude and skill sets, the candidate may be placed into roles that best match his/her abilities and interests.

About the roles under consideration

Revenue Analyst

  • Prepare daily revenue reports & dashboards with key revenue metrics for the day and the forecasts, including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and daily pickups for multiple sites.
  • Collect and analyse competitive data and strategies and report on the same
  • Evaluating site-wise performance based on Comp set data & STR intelligence.
  • Give recommendations & reasoning for rate modifications
  • Assist with data reporting to STR

Reservation Support

  • Processing group reservation requests & modifications.
  • Drafting accurate communication regarding policies, cancellation terms, commission terms etc to clients and travel agents.
  • Creating, maintaining & managing group blocks, rooming lists, and reservations, group block notes & block release in the PMS.
  • Provide analytical reports on groups, arrival, inventory, cancellations & other reservation metrics.
  • Maintain various reservation databases.

Night Auditor

  • To check cash & credit card reconciliations with cashier reports and settlement slips daily.
  • Check various adjustments and postings done by the front desk for the day and verify the same for accuracy.
  • Audit the PMS system daily for charges posted, packages and codes applied, and payments applied.
  • Ensure that documentary support is available for any guest refunds, FOCs.
  • Verify direct billing accounts with Travel Vouchers for the correct posting and routing.
  • Ensure that same-day cancellations and no-shows have been charged to the credit card and if not, flag such cases.
  • Update the Audit report weekly/monthly with observations and supporting & follow up on the pending action items.
  • Review PM Accounts, Open folios, and direct bill accounts for any discrepancies.
  • Check advances settlement, credit limits authorisations and variances for reporting.

Sales Support:

  • Capture and document all sales opportunities, leads, and interactions in the CRM system (Delphi)
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of customer details, requirements, and sales progress updates.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all sales activities, including calls, emails, meetings, and site visits.
  • Track and monitor the status of sales opportunities from initial inquiry to final closure.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather necessary information.
  • Flag any essential but missing information for the opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute sales proposals, contracts, and other relevant documents to clients as required.
  • Provide basic MIS on the Sales funnel.
  • Support the sales team in administrative tasks.
  • Draft, maintain and update contracts.

Candidate Requirements

· Hospitality Graduates from reputed institutes with excellent academic records.

· Completed internships with leading hotel brands.

· Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

· Excellent analytical skills and ability to slice and dice data meaningfully.

· Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with quick turnaround time.
