Job Overview
Trident Dispatch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heat Treatment Engineer to join our team. As a Heat Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for performing Heat Treatment processes on various materials used in manufacturing. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in Heat Treatment Engineering. The job location is Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. This is a full-time role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Heat Treatment Engineering
- Strong knowledge of Heat Treatment principles and processes
- Experience in Heat Treatment of metals and alloys
- Familiarity with foundry and casting processes
- Knowledge of post-weld Heat Treatment (PWHT)
- Ability to design Heat Treatment processes to achieve desired material properties
- Understanding of materials specifications and requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform Heat Treatment processes on various materials used in manufacturing, such as metals and alloys
- Design Heat Treatment processes to achieve desired material properties
- Operate and maintain Heat Treatment equipment
- Monitor and control Heat Treatment parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and time
- Perform quality control tests and inspections on heat treated materials
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems during the Heat Treatment process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production and engineering, to ensure efficient Heat Treatment operations
- Maintain documentation and records of Heat Treatment processes and results
