Job Description
Preparation and review of deliverables related to Technical Safety/Environmental, as minimum but not
limited to such as Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Management Plans, HSE
Philosophies/Specifications, studies & reviews, HAZOP Management and review, SIL Determination,
Hazardous Area Classification, Consequence analysis, BAT/ALARP studies, QRA, FESA, COMAH, Noise
Specification, Noise Report Management, Emission Modelling Report, Flare Assessment (distances,
emission and radiation), HSE Action Tracking Management, impact and emission calculations and safety
equipment specification.
Experience in participation in numerous workshop as Technical Safety/Environmental Engineer to advise on
technical safety related aspect and concern at HAZOP, HAZID, ISD, BOW TIE, 3D Model Review, HFE
Review, Construction HAZID, etc.
Ensure compliance HSE international and specific country legal requirements (Safety and Envieronmental)
Experience as facilitator
HAZOP, HAZID, SIL Determination, ALARP and ERP Workshop among others.
Experience developing Radiation and Dispersion modeling using Flaresim software (or any similar
software) and review the simulations, analyses and Report.
Review engineering inter-discipline documents.
Preparing OFFERS and BUDGETS for Projects
Monitoring manhour budget and prepare weekly workplan and update project progress
Ensure the schedule and deliverables date are meet with a high quality deliverables and action.
Prepare specification, RFI/RFP and TBE for technical safety items.
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical discipline or equivalent.
Possess a minimum of 10 years of working experience as Technical safety specialists and
demonstrate experience in EPC companies or Engineering Companies.
Significant experience in engineering design of oil and gas facilities.
Self-directed and self-motivated (SD/SM) employee
Able to work in a project with minimum supervision
A strong background in onshore facility and brownfield project experience is an advantage.
Skilled in Physical Effects Modeling and Quantitative Risk Assessment, experience with PHAST,
FLARESIM, ALOHA, EFFECTS, EXsilentia software
Effective communicator who can influence key stakeholders
Strong knowledge on the Hazardous area classification, SCE/PS, EERA, FERA and other loss
prevention analysis and risk assessment
Knowledgeable in technical safety design standard such as NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, IP, ISO, ASME, API,
etc. Additional knowledge in Russian Normative is an advantage.
