AddressReporting to the Chief Product Officer you will oversee the operational activities in India for the org's Product business and ensure that the workforce is productive.
You will provide strategic guidance and cultivate a positive and productive culture that permeates the entire operation.
As Head of Product Operations India, you will lead all aspects of day-to-day Product Operations, guiding senior staff on strategic planning and execution of day-to-day activities, ensuring that staff are all aware of operational best practices and implementing new technologies.
Role and responsibilities :
People Leadership:
- Lead the Management Team, overseeing multi-dimensional work streams and contact channels. Develop them into an empowered, proactive leadership team, exhibiting exceptional leadership qualities while meeting commercial metrics.
- Foster the competence and capability of the team to deliver exceptional customer and client experiences, particularly in challenging and complex scenarios.
- Manage headcount to budget, ensuring optimal capacity and resourcing alignment for your business area.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture that prioritizes growth, development, and colleague support, yielding outstanding engagement outcomes.
- Collaborate with org's India leadership to create a companywide culture that fosters collaboration to increase overall opportunity globally.
Operational Excellence:
- Managing budgets
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff
- Analyzing productivity data and staffing and production capacity
- Using historical records to forecast future budgets
- Maintaining a working knowledge of their industry including challenges and opportunities in the sector and the impacts and planning required to maintain efficient operations.
- Working closely with other heads of departments to improve efficiency.
- Creating and delivering presentations
- Designing new processes to improve quality or increase productivity and profitability.
Key skills and abilities:
- At least 5 years of experience of managing product development projects with minimum 15 years of experience
- The role will suit a self-motivated, articulate, focused individual with proven excellent organizational, communication and inter-personal skills. This is a challenging role and individuals will be expected to use their own initiative and be proactive, meet objectives, handle statistics, write reports and adapt to the changing needs as required.
- A background in practice management, operations or business development, would be advantageous.
